Engaging Professional Photographers for the Best Effects

Although modern technologies today empower ordinary consumers to take selfies and any other type of photos personally, there is always a good reason to engage professional photographers for some special photography sessions.

Photography studios
Philadelphia is an exciting city with vibrant events happening in all seasons that should be captured on print. This city offers a host of professional photographers with their own photography studios that are well setup for all types of shoots.

Many established photographystudios in Philadelphia are set up in strategic sections of the city to cater to the different categories of consumers requiring their professional services. Their strategic business locations allow them to cater to the different needs and preferences of the local community as well as global consumers seeking professional photography skills.

These photography studios are well set up with the best of environments that include different décors and props to fit the desired mood and objectives. The right ambience is generated to bring out the best effects from the models or subjects in the photographs.

Fashion photography

Professional fashion photographers in Philadelphia are in great demand for generating fashion and glamour through high quality photos taken in and outside the studio. A portrait photograph can be generated as a high fashion photo through the proper photography skills and equipment in the hands of a professional photographer.

Fashion photography is a new trend of photography today with and without props. A skilled photographer is able to draw out the desired effects from the subject in the photo with or without props and décor.

Fashion photography can be applied on all types of occasions that include newborn photography, birthdays, weddings, anniversaries, graduations and family portraits.

Modern consumers like to engage the professional services of fashion photographers to generate a family portrait greeting card for various occasions such as Christmas and Thanksgiving. These photo cards can be sent in print or via email to update recipients on the family’s status during these special seasons. These photo greeting cards are excellent gifts to recipients who are unable to visit frequently.

Skilled photographers

Professional Philadelphia photographers are usually trained and highly qualified with the best of photography experience in fashion and portrait photography. They are passionate about their task which is more than a job; it is usually a passionate hobby that is turned into a business venture.

Skilled photographers are able to envisage the best results before the clicking of the camera. They are able to get the whole picture behind the lens and convey their intentions to their subjects in front.

The full cooperation of subjects to be photographed can generate masterpieces which are award winning prints. A skilled fashion photographer is able to direct their subjects to the place and mood for a masterpiece print on the lens without much effort. High quality prints are generated to last a lifetime while generating memories for the subjects.

It does not need to be hurt the pockets for a professional portrait taken by professional photographers in their well equipped studios.

Fashion Editorial Shoot

I just shot something which is very close to heart, every now and then I love to collaborate with fellow artist, I had worked with Tokyo in the past on a commercial shoot where he was the hair stylist . We had a great time at that shoot so he called me a few days later that with an idea about a editorial submission. I called him over to my studio and then heard his idea which interested me a lot. We created the mood board for the shoot, I came up with the story concept for the shoot, Tokyo started gathering the team and we had makeup, stylist, models. we did 3 looks all outdoors, First image was shot in the Piazza, second shot was shot on the freshly burned building on Market st and the third look was shot on Spring garden st.  Equipment wise I used my Elinchrome mono light and Octabank and reflector. nothing crazy.. I also used the Photogenic Lithium inverter. I will share the final retouched images later on but for now here are some iPhone Bts shots and some other pictures from the shoot.

Latest editorial work in the Spring 2014 The Fashion Issue of In Bliss Magazine

This is exciting news as I just saw the new Spring 2014 Fashion issue of In Bliss where I shot for the cover story.  Shoot was very interesting as it was shot inside of the The University of Pennsylvania  Museum of Archaeology and Anthropology inside of the lower Egypt sections. You talk about a backdrop and here is a an amazing backdrop for a beautiful romantic shot. Right in Philadelphia we have a 3000 year old sphinx recreated so we did not have to travel to Giza. We did a some ceremony images and then romantic images. Light wise I had a large octadome as the key light for the ceremony images with filing in form sides. The biggest issue I had was the ambient light which was tungsten and flour flourcent, Once you mix in the studio lights it can get muggy, so the trick here was to match the ambient light and fill in carefully with our strobes to that I we don't loose the effect of ambience and still get a warm and daylight corrected image, I did not want to change the color temp in post. I like to work in the given situation and make the most out of it. This is how I was bread back in the days when I started photography I used to shoot all film that too transparencies for which your exposure had to be 100% that upbringing really taught me a lot as a photographer which I benefit even till date.   2nd shot where both our models are in front of the sphinx, Key light is right behind me and the three other fill lights are strategically placed behind the columns to light up the entire room and get a good depth of field.  please leave your feedback and if you have any questions please feel free to get in touch with me.

This was very interesting shoot unfortunately I can't post all the images until her art show. I will share one of the behind the scenes shot from the shoot.

I will be showing the image once her show is over.
